About this notice

This notice describes the current JSON Lens tool. Operator contact details and a direct feedback destination have not yet been configured.

Privacy and local processing

JSON and Python dictionary contents are processed in your browser. The application does not upload those documents to a backend or save them between visits. The app stores your light or dark theme preference in local storage on your device. You can remove that preference through your browser’s site-data settings.

The current application does not include analytics or advertising scripts. The hosting service may process page-request metadata, such as IP address, browser information, and access time, under its own policies. This notice does not describe every practice of an external hosting provider.

Feedback

The Feedback page prepares a message locally. It does not send feedback to the operator. Copying it to another service subjects the message to that service’s practices. Do not include passwords, access tokens, personal data, or confidential documents in feedback.

Use and output

Use the tool only for data you are authorized to process. You retain ownership of your input data. Review all converted and repaired output before using it. Auto-correction may infer missing content or change structure. Large numeric values may lose precision.

Availability and limitations

The tool is provided as available, without a promise of uninterrupted service, complete compatibility, or error-free results. It supports a defined subset of Python dictionary literals and does not execute Python code. It is intended to help explore data structure and formatting.

Third-party software

Syntax repair uses jsonrepair version 3.15.0, by Jos de Jong, under the ISC license. Its license notice is included in the application source.

Before public launch

This notice must be updated if the site adds accounts, analytics, advertising, server-side storage, or feedback delivery. Operator identity and contact information should be added before public launch.
