A Python dictionary is not necessarily valid JSON. Single quotes, True, False, and None are valid Python conventions that require conversion.

Automatic detection

Visualize JSON detects the supported Python literal and displays:

The input stays unchanged. Adjacent Python strings such as 'Chief Commercial ' 'Officer' are joined as Python would join them. Arbitrary Python expressions are not executed.

Find syntax problems

Input line numbers make the red error highlight easier to locate. The line and column describe the original input. Output line numbers can change after conversion or formatting.

Suggest a repair

Auto-correct can insert a missing colon and comma. It can also complete common missing brackets. A repair is a suggestion, since an incomplete document can have more than one intended meaning.

Review the changed region

Open Review conversion / repair changes. It compares raw original and corrected text from the first difference to the last. Large excerpts are shortened. It is not a detailed list of every individual edit. Inspect inferred values before using the output.

Watch for duplicate keys

{"status": "draft", "status": "approved"}

The tool warns about the repeated status key. Parsing retains approved and drops the earlier value. Correct duplicate keys in the original input if both values should survive; do not rely on the formatted output to recover discarded values.
